1Introduction

This policy explains what data the international messenger Mess collects, why we need it, and how you can manage it. By using Mess — through the web app at web.3wt.ru, the Android, Windows or Linux app, or later iOS and macOS — you agree to the principles described here.

2What data we collect

Running your account and delivering messages requires a small set of data:

• Login data — the phone number or email linked to your account, and the confirmation code used to sign in.
• Profile data — your name, username, avatar and bio, if you choose to add them.
• Messages and attachments — the text, photos, voice messages and files you exchange.
• Technical data — device type, app or OS version (Android, Windows, Linux, iOS, macOS), approximate last sign-in time, and crash diagnostics.

3How we use your data

Data is only used to keep Mess reliable and convenient: delivering messages, syncing across devices and platforms, push notifications, account recovery and fraud prevention.

We do not analyze message content for advertising and we do not sell data to third parties.

4International data transfers

Mess is an international service used by people in many countries. This may mean your data is processed and stored on servers located in a country other than your own. We apply reasonable safeguards regardless of where servers are physically located.

5Storage and protection

Messages are stored encrypted on our servers. Access to the infrastructure is restricted and logged. We review our security measures regularly as the service grows.

6Sharing data with third parties

We share data with outside providers only to the extent needed to run the service — for example, to send SMS confirmation codes or push notifications, or to distribute the app through stores such as Google Play. Such partners are required to use the data only for these purposes.

7Cookies

The Mess web app (web.3wt.ru) uses technically necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your chosen interface language. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8Age restrictions

Mess is intended for users aged 16 and older (or the minimum age required by the law of your country). If you become aware that a younger child has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.

9Your rights

At any time, you can:

• view and edit your profile data in settings;
• end active sign-in sessions on other devices and platforms;
• delete individual messages or your entire chat history;
• request full deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us below.

10Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to these rules, we will announce them in the app and on the website ahead of time, before they take effect.
